Got news about the casting I did for PRONUPTIA the other day and they put me on option! Awaiting the final answer from the client and if I get it I will be traveling to the north of France for 10 days in the beginning of April.

The only bad thing about this is that if I get it I will miss out on a wedding of some friends.. Ironical that the shoot is for bridal dresses!

Good morning!

I had a great day yesterday shooting with David for SOON magazine. It's was fun but extremely cold. An experience I'll remember for ever.
At the location I didn't have any connection at all, and I mean zero! Couldn't even make phone calls and even less update the blog.
However, I did take pictures so I'll be sure to put them up later when I find the time.

Started my day today with an early breakfast at the hotel. Super lovely!

South of France

Directly after the shoot for Best Mountain today I went to Gare de Lyon in Paris to take the train down south.
Had to change at one point but it all went very smooth.
I was picked up at the station and taken by car for half an hour before arriving at the hotel.

I'm currently enjoying the massive bed in my very own little house, or should I say cabin.
I'm having breakfast tomorrow at 8 am with David and the rest of the crew so I better get some rest now. It sure has been a long day today but I'm sure I won't have a hard time getting out of bed tomorrow. So excited!

Shoot with HAMILTON for SOON magazine

I can't believe it but I actually booked it! Went to see the world famous photographer himself and at this point the choice was already narrowed down to me and two other girls (both Russian)

We started of by meeting mr. Hamilton and just talking for a while. He would look through our pictures, ask some questions and show us some of his pictures which are of course well known to the world already.

The other girl arrived first so she was he first one to go upstairs to take some pictures.
When she was done it was my turn to go up and undress (search for David Hamilton and you will quickly realize that he is a nude photographer)
When meeting someone you would think being completely naked would make it uncomfortable and nerve-racking but it wasn't at all. We both managed to make it a relaxed chat which included some old stories from when he was in Denmark, drinking with the Swedish king, pictures of a young Mick Jagger (Hamilton is 80 years old now) and different cities in home country which he knew quite well dispute of the size of them.
He took some pictures and when he was done he asked me to wait downstairs so that we could talk some more.
Got dressed, went down and to my surprise found out that the first Russian girl had left. But since David had asked me to wait, so did I.
After he had met the last girl he came downstairs, we all talked for a little bit and then he asked for my number, which I put in his phone myself. He kindly said goodbye and stated that we should stay in touch and have lunch sometime.

Leaving the place I still wasn't sure about weather or not I would get the job cause when it came out that the third girl had been a dancer for 13 years (including ballet) he also took her number. To take the picture he had in mind one was supposed to preform a very artistic "jump".

In the end we both left and I went back to my agency. When I arrived they had just been on the phone with the people from the casting saying that they liked me but I wasn't confirmed for the job yet because of some complications.

Tried not to think more of it and went to work at Abercrombie. While I was there I received a phone call from my agency telling me that I booked it!

I booked the shooting with David Hamilton for Soon Magazine!

So on the 28th of March I will be going to the south of France to take the pictures.
This is such a big deal I can't even believe it! I'm very much looking forward to it and of course I will be updating so that you can all see what's going on "backstage".

Meeting David Hamilton

On my way to meet with the famous photographer David Hamilton to discuss the opportunity to shoot with him. My agency called this morning saying that the liked me (when I did the casting last week) and now he wants to meet me in person.
I'm slightly nervous but most of all excited to see what this meeting will bring with it in the future.
This could be the start of something big.

Pre-celebration

Visited my boyfriends family today and ended up having a great lunch, more champagne and a birthday cake!

I BOOKED MY FIRST JOB

I woke up at 5 am and after trying to go back to sleep for the next hour, which I obviously didn't succeed in, I decided to grab my phone and finally tell you the big news.

I BOOKED MY FIRST PAYED MODELJOB!!


Going to all the castings finally payed of so on the 26th of March I'll be shooting a look-book for BEST MOUNTAIN

I have actually knows since Wednesday but the reason why I haven't told anyone except for my parents is that I was surprising my boyfriend with the good news on Friday night when he arrived in Paris and I didn't want him to find out by accident before that.
He was so happy for me and we went to one of our favorite Italian restaurants in Paris and celebrated with some great food and a glass of champagne.

So there you have it! I'm absolutely thrilled but I have to admit that I forget it quite often cause it just seems so unreal. But then I remember that it's actually happening.

I'm not only living in Paris, I'm also living my dream.

Casting, EURO DISNEY

Forgot to mention that I did a casting for Euro Disney yesterday afternoon to be nothing less than (drum roll..)

A DISNEY PRINCESS! 

Haven't got any confirmation for it yet but I have my fingers crossed. How cool would that be?! haha

WORK OUT 15/3

It's been a while since I last did one of these posts but that is simply because I haven't been working out like I'm supposed to do.. 

It's never to late to change for the better!

Went today and started by enjoying the lovely steam-room while waiting for the aqua-class to finish. Ones everyone had left the pool I hopped in and did my thing! Just the normal routine but with a few updates. I'm trying to make it as good for my legs as possible so I keep changing and correcting for the best result. 

When leaving I forgot my membership card in my locker so ones I got home I called them and I'll just stop by and pick it up later today or tomorrow.

Dinner with Metropolitan

Yesterday I had dinner with work and it was really lovely. It was a few of the bookers, some models and the owner of Metropolitan. We went to a restaurant called La Cantine and enjoyed a nice dinner and a few drinks.

Dessert! I skipped the cheesecake and stuck with all the tropical fruits. 

It was one of the models birthdays so she got celebrated!

 

Where did my blog-posts go?

Find it strange that it appears that I'm missing some blog post on my blog that I thought I had published.. It might have been due to the fact that I mostly update on the go and the reception in the metro is quite bad. I'll look into that!

TUESDAY

Today I started out by working a few hours at Abercrombie and after that I headed straight to Metropolitan to pick up some more composits (the small piece of paper/ card with my picture and information that I give to the people I meet at the different castings.)
Had a quick coffee with one of the photographers at the agency discussing a shoot that he wants to do with me in the near future. Looking forward to it a lot cause he is not only extremely talented but also the nicest person you could imagine!

My mother published her second book today and I'm so proud of her! Downloaded it as an e-book and I can't wait to read it!

Went to french class later on in the evening and now I'm just waiting to skype with my boyfriend before falling asleep.

ps. Something happened today, but I can't tell you about it yet. I'll do so in the weekend!

Casting: Best Mountain

Did a casting for Best Mountain today and it went very well. Got to try a black dress with a lace back (would be perfect for my birthday party this saturday..)
Happened to meet one of the guys I work with at Abercrombie there which was kinda fun!

I know I haven't updated since I went to London but I'm back on track, so don't you worry!

SOON MAGAZINE, David HAMILTON

Today's first casting is for a shoot with the brilliant photographer David HAMILTON for SOON MAGAZINE.

Homework

Preparing for my next class which is tomorrow night.
Safe to say that I'm learning even though I would like it to go faster!

I GREW !

Enjoying my evening with a piece (or two..) or some 85% chocolate that I got from my boyfriend last time he visited me in Paris.
My day today has been pretty amazing if I may say so. Started of with working at Abercrombie from 10am to 2pm where after I took the metro to my agency to meet with some clients. While taking to the scout from the second agency he stated that I looked taller than 173cm, which is what I was measured to when I first arrived in Paris. So one of the guys from Metropolitan took me upstairs and measured me to be (almost)

174 cm!

I'm trilled about the fact that I'm still growing, even if it's just a little and I really hope that I can reach 175 before I stop. It would make modeling a lot easier.
The rest of the day was just as thrilling (if not more) but I will tell you about that later...

M&P MODELS

Good morning everyone!

Forgot to mention that yesterdays casting (the last one with Trump Management, NYC) got moved to later on in the evening. So at 8pm I showed up in the lobby of a very fancy hotel to meet with the scouts. Some time very soon I'll actually be living in these hotels, not just enjoying the lobby!

Today I'm meeting with two more agencies, the first one at 10 am being M&P MODELS. After that I'm headed straight to work at Abercrombie!

TRUMP MANAGEMENT

It has turned 4.30 pm and it's time for my forth and final meeting of today. Last but not least is TRUMP MANAGEMENT, based in New York, US.

Again, background information:

It's now 3.30 pm which means it's time for my third meeting of the day. The name of the agency is TRAFFIC MODELS and they are based in Barcelona, Spain.

Here is the information I found about them. Sounds very promising!

Right when I thought I could just spend the rest of my day relaxing at home, watching a movie I receive an email from Metropolitan saying that I'm meeting with MUSE MODELS tonight at a hotel in the 4th arr.

HALL OF FAME

Went to Metropolitan after having my hair cut to meet with a Spanish agency, and look what I saw! My picture is now up on the wall next to all of the other beautiful models. I'm thrilled!

HAIRCUT

Just been to the hairdresser to get rid of 10 whole centimeters of my hair.
Happy with the result and it was about time I had it done!
