I'M COMING HOME

Sitting on the plane, ready for take off.
Can't wait to see my friends and family and spend the week with them.
I won't have any Internet on my phone so updating will be difficult, but I'll try when ever I have the chance!

Denmark, here I come!

NO SLEEP

Got home at 6.30 in the morning after having been out with friends. Managed to sleep till 10 and then for the rest of the day I've been studying, preferring for my trip home and going to the gym.

Working a double-shift tomorrow at A&F as well as doing a few castings. Time to get some much needed sleep!

TOKYO

Meeting with a booker from a Japanese agency to discuss the possibility of a one month stay in Tokyo. Think it would be a great experience and I've heard many times that I have the right looks for that market. We'll see what comes out of it!

GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS

The good news is that I got a lot of the pictures from Hamilton today when we met up which I proudly will be placing in my book.

The bad news (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating..) is that I can't show them to you! They have to be kept a secret until they are published in Soon Magazine which will be coming out soon. And some of them are for the next edition so that will take even longer!

CLAUDE MEDIAVILLA

Was having coffee today after work with David Hamilton and I was fortunate enough to get to meet one of his friends, a man he has been working with for some time now; Claude Mediavilla.

Claude is one of the worlds most famous calligraphers alive today and he has done art, writing, as well as a few things for some rather known brands. (Louis Vuitton anyone?)

He wrote my name on the back on an envelope with a pen he had in his pocket and it was just amazing to see! Definitely something that's very rare today now that pretty much all writing we do is on computers and phones.

I wish I could write like that!

He has wrote numerous book about this fine art and is teaching it to people all around the world. You can find much more information about him, and his work on his website here

LIGHTS OUT

Managed to write about one of the casting from today, and the rest will just have to wait. I'm way to tired to think of anything else than my comfy bed-sofa and my inviting pillow!
Have been on the go from 9 am to 10 pm so I'm... Quite tired!

Bonne nuit!

CASTING, DEICHMANN

My first casting today was for a Deichmann TV commercial. It was really a lot of fun!
We were in a group of five (four girls & one guy) pretending to get ready for a fun night out. Chatting, trying on clothes, laughing, dancing and taking silly Facebook pictures.
Afterwards we all did an individual introduction, which is quite normal, but there was some unusual questions as well such as: -what is the most embarrassing thing you ever experienced?

Some castings are dull, but this one sure wasn't :)

AAAAAND... YOGA!

Finishing of my busy day with a yoga class! Ended up having four castings today so I've been super busy. Got home fifteen minutes ago, had some soup and now I'm on my way to the gym. In despite of being tired I'm really looking forward to it. It's relaxing and I feel so at peace with my body afterwards.

I've been trying to update on the go but it's such a struggle with the bad connection in the metro.. I'll tell you more about today's castings when I'm back home.

A LOVELY SURPRISE

Received yesterday what I guess you can call a fan letter, for the first time ever from one of my readers. I was really surprised and thankful for the great encouragement and support, not only from friends and family, but now also from people I'm less familiar with. So if you see this, you probably know who you are, Thank You for taking the time to write me that heartwarming message! I much appreciate it :)

FAT-DAY

Today is my monthly "Fat-day"! Have been calling it my "eat whatever I want day" and other long and complicated names until a person from Abercrombie introduced me to this term.
It's pretty much self explanatory.. but in case you want to know more, here it goes.

Everyday, except for "fat-day", I follow a diet. It's pretty strict, excluding any form of carbs and sugar/sweetener. That being said, I do eat! One needs energy to run around to all those castings.
Resisting all the temptations there is food wise in Paris can be pretty hard but never the less that's one of the conditions that allows me to live here and have the job I do.

I'm a huge food lover and I find it to be very motivating for me to have this day to look forward to when ever I'm stuck snacking on veggies and going to the gym, which is not always what I would just love to do after a long day of work...

I was meant to have it last weekend (always the last day of the month) but since I had a shoot for Soon Magazine Monday and Tuesday I figured it best to wait a little.

So there you go! That's all there is to know about that.
As you can imagine I'll be stuffing my face with french pastry and other guilty pleasures for the rest of the day. YUM!

Ps. If you only had one day like this per month, what would be on the top of your list of things to eat? Let me know in a comment and maybe I'll try it out!

Disclaimer: What to eat and how to eat it is always a touchy subject. I don't claim to have great knowledge on this matter of field, it's just the way I choose to do it.

MORE DAYS LIKE THIS, PLEASE

Had such a wonderful day today!
Woke up before my alarm feeling well rested and then I got ready to go meet a friend at the Eiffel Tower. We were relaxing and soaking in vitamin D for two hours before we both went to castings.
The rest of my day was just as great. I do admit good company and lots of sunshine helps.
Now I'm ready to head out the door to meet up with my boyfriend who is just arriving from London. We are having dinner and drinks with some friends and I'm really looking forward to it! Nothing like a warm summer night with cocktails in the city of cities #Paris

MANDATORY

Not feeling the least bit like hitting the gym tonight.. But it has to be done! I'm aiming at going every single day but only for 30-60 min. Attended an Abdominal class yesterday so today I'll be running 4,5km today (takes me 30 min).
Just finished my green tea so I must be on my way!
I'll check back in afterwards to update you on today's casting and to show you some new pictures in my model portfolio.

SOON MAGAZINE - DAY 2

Had a wonderful day today despite the fact that I had to get up with the birds. Got my hair done while trying to wake up and then we all went for breakfast together. Shot by the lake, with the castle in the background (seen on the picture in the last post)
We worked nonstop until 11 and then we where done! Went to the spa for half an hour before having a lovely lunch in the sun. The two last days has been amazing weather wise!
Staid until 4pm and then we decided to head back to Paris, this time by car.

I'm in bed now and even though I had so much fun I have to say, it's good to be back in my tiny Parisian apartment.

Backstage! Beautiful Elisa being shot by Hamilton.

SOON MAGAZINE - DAY 1

Done with a long day of work. Had lots of fun and laughter, drove around in golf cars in the forrest and finished with a six course dinner! I'm really full now and I'm sure I'll fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.
Enjoying having my own room and a big soft king size bed to rest in. My alarm goes of at 5.20 am tomorrow morning and we start work at 6!

Have my hair in braids as ordered by the hairstylist (to have the right waves for tomorrows shoot) and as soon as I've talked to my boyfriend I'll be off to bed!

Bonne nuit!

Ps. The picture is of the castle that's at the hotel we are staying at. Beautiful!

BACKSTAGE, SOON MAGAZINE

AFTERNOON UPDATE

Most of the team is in the back garden relaxing and enjoying the sun. I'm trying to stay in the shade to avoid getting a sunburn.
We had a lovely lunch at the hotel and now I'm just admiring the French blue summer sky.

Gare de Nantes

I have arrived in Nantes, the sun is shining and I'm waiting to be picked up by someone from the production in a few minutes.
Traveling light with as little as my ever so handy longchamp bag and a mulberry bag which was a birthday gift from my boyfriend.

SHOOTING WITH HAMILTON AGAIN

Just got back from a lovely weekend in London. Getting a few hours of sleep and tomorrow morning I'll be leaving Paris again to do a second shoot for Soon Magazine with photographer David Hamilton.

Here is a (backstage) picture from the last shoot a little while back.
